Stainless steel bars are formed from stainless steel ingots by hot rolling or forging.
It can be categorized into round steel, square steel, flat steel, hexagonal steel and octagonal steel according to its shape.

Common Ss Round Bar——Grades and Characteristics:
304 stainless steel round bar: has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties, stamping, bending and other hot workability, no heat treatment hardening phenomenon. Uses: cutlery, cabinets, boilers, auto parts, medical appliances, building materials, food industry (use temperature -196°C-700°C).
304L stainless steel round bar: as a low carbon 304 steel, in general, the corrosion resistance is similar to 304, but after welding or stress relieving, it has excellent resistance to grain boundary corrosion, and can maintain good corrosion resistance without heat treatment.
316L stainless steel round bar: 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum and low carbon content, the resistance to pitting corrosion in the ocean and chemical industry environment is greatly superior to 304 stainless steel!

420 stainless steel round bar: "cutting edge level" martensitic steel, similar to the earliest stainless steel Brinell high chromium steel. Also used for surgical knives, can be made very bright.
430 Stainless Steel Round Bar: Ferritic stainless steel for decorative purposes, e.g. for car accessories. Good formability, but temperature resistance and corrosion resistance are poorer.

Stainless Steel Cold Drawing Process:
Stainless steel cold drawing process is a method of stretching stainless steel materials at room temperature. It gradually reduces the temperature during deformation by making the metal material in the process of forced stretching, so that the material hardness, strength, toughness and other various properties can be further improved. In addition, the cold drawing process can also make the surface of the stainless steel material become smoother and more uniform in density, thus improving its quality and corrosion resistance.
1. Raw material preparation
