Stainless steel bars are formed from stainless steel ingots by hot rolling or forging.
It can be categorized into round steel, square steel, flat steel, hexagonal steel and octagonal steel according to its shape.
According to the surface treatment, stainless steel bar can be divided into stainless steel black bar, stainless steel sour white bar (pickling), stainless steel bright bar, stainless steel grinding bar (brushed).

Common Ss Round Bar——Grades and Characteristics:
304 stainless steel round bar: has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties, stamping, bending and other hot workability, no heat treatment hardening phenomenon. Uses: cutlery, cabinets, boilers, auto parts, medical appliances, building materials, food industry (use temperature -196°C-700°C).
304L stainless steel round bar: as a low carbon 304 steel, in general, the corrosion resistance is similar to 304, but after welding or stress relieving, it has excellent resistance to grain boundary corrosion, and can maintain good corrosion resistance without heat treatment.
316L stainless steel round bar: 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum and low carbon content, the resistance to pitting corrosion in the ocean and chemical industry environment is greatly superior to 304 stainless steel!
301 stainless steel round bar: good ductility, used for molding products. It can also be hardened quickly by mechanical processing. Good weldability, wear resistance and fatigue strength is better than 304 stainless steel.
201 stainless steel round bar: belongs to chromium-nickel-manganese austenitic stainless steel, low magnetic.
202 stainless steel round bar: belongs to the chromium-nickel-manganese austenitic stainless steel, performance is better than 201 stainless steel.
410 stainless steel round bar: belongs to the martensitic (high strength chromium steel), good wear resistance, corrosion resistance is poor.
420 stainless steel round bar: "cutting edge level" martensitic steel, similar to the earliest stainless steel Brinell high chromium steel. Also used for surgical knives, can be made very bright.
430 Stainless Steel Round Bar: Ferritic stainless steel for decorative purposes, e.g. for car accessories. Good formability, but temperature resistance and corrosion resistance are poorer.
Hot Rolled Ss Bar——Applications:
Stainless steel bar is widely used in hardware kitchenware, shipbuilding, petrochemicals, machinery, medicine, food, electricity, energy, building decoration, nuclear power, aerospace and other industries.
